NEW CASINO: SOBOBA CASINO - www.soboba.net - 23333 Soboba Rd., San Jacinto, CA 92583. FREE OVERNIGHT PARKING OK.
San Jacinto is near Hemet - south of Highway 10 and east of Highway 215. It is a fairly large casino - several tent like structures connected. Is bigger than it looks. Has all the usual slots, smoking room and non smoking room - poker room and eating places.
Food high priced and no free drink counter. The overnight camping is a HUGE flat paved lot back of the casino - the night we were parked there were no trucks - just 6 RV's. Probably because it is slightly 'out of the way'.
They have a very large covered outdoor entertainment arena and seem to pull in some big names - according to their web site.
This valley is gorgeous. We sat outside the RV in the late afternoon and watched the sun go down behind the hills. Then the next morning we could see it rise in the east over the opposite hills. Spectacular place to visit on a clear day..
